Louisa Moritz (born September 25, 1946) is a Cuban-American actress, real estate holder and former lawyer.

Early life

Louisa Moritz was born Ciro Netto Castro in Havana, Cuba and left Cuba during the political upheaval of the 1950s/early 1960s, hiding aboard a ship and making her way to New York City. She chose the stage last name of Moritz after seeing the Hotel St. Moritz in New York City and later named the property she bought on S. Reeves 'Saint Moritz Hotel. She had a son who remained in Flushing, New York to be raised by her sister when she left for Hollywood."

Louisa Moritz has been active in Los Angeles real estate as agent, manager and investor.

Accusations against Bill Cosby

See Bill Cosby sexual assault allegations for more information In November 2014, Moritz joined other female accusers of actor Bill Cosby, claiming Cosby sexually assaulted her in a Manhattan dressing room for The Tonight Show in 1971. In the meantime Moritz went to law school and passed the Bar exam on her first try. On 25 June 2015 she was suspended by the California State Bar and is currently not eligible to practice law.
