Katie Sheridan Biography

Katie Teresa Sheridan is an English actress best known for her role as Sophie Norton in the Nickelodeon comedy series Genie in the House.

Career

Katie Sheridan made her first television appearance in ITV'S Real Crime Series Cracking The Killer's Code. She went to East Berkshire College, and appeared in a number of BBC Productions including Powers, Waking The Dead, In2minds, Casualty, Lovesoup, If?Tv Goes Down The Tube and Brief Encounters. She also played young Grace in the feature film Lighthouse Hill.

Sheridan gained a following for her role as Sophie Norton in the Nickelodeon comedy series Genie In The House. The show, with a total of 78 episodes, was shown in over 100 countries and as of March 2012 was aired in the US on the Starz Kids & Family cable network. In 2012 she played the role of Sarah in the feature film Crushing Snails.

She is a member of theatre company Rough Fiction's Ensemble Lab and played Helen Of Troy in their production of The Love Of The Nightingale. She has also appeared in adverts for Variety Club, McDonalds and Orange.

Sheridan appears in several episodes of the new family comedy series Which is Witch? The show has been shot in stereoscopic 3d and she plays mean girl Kelly Price
