Hostages is an upcoming American drama television series that is expected to air on CBS on Monday, September 23, 2013, as part of the 2013"14 American television season. The series is based on a similar Israeli series created by Alon Aranya, Omri Givon, and Rotem Shamir, which was never produced. Jeffrey Nachmanoff wrote the pilot episode for the American version. The series will premiere on September 23, 2013.

Plot

The family of a doctor, who will be doing surgery on the United States President, is taken hostage by a rogue FBI agent. She is ordered by the kidnappers to assassinate the President in order to save her family.
