During last night's live results show, it was announced that George Huff was eliminated from the American Idol competition after receiving the fewest votes. On Tuesday night, Huff sang "What A Wonderful World" and "Cheek To Cheek." The eighth finalist to be eliminated from the competition, Huff will return to his hometown of New Orleans, LA. Only four finalists remain, one of whom will be the next American Idol!

Then, during last night's live results show, it was announced that John Stevens, who sang "Music of My Heart" on Tuesday, was eliminated from the American Idol competition.

Manilow joined the judges Tuesday in critiquing the performances, and last night he performed with the finalists. Then, during a shocking Wednesday live results show, it was announced that Jennifer Hudson, who was considered one of the favorites to win this season's contest, had been eliminated from the American Idol competition after receiving the fewest votes.
