Caroline McGowan, (born February 25, 1991) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Corvallis, Oregon who was named Miss Oregon 2011.

Biography

She won the title of Miss Oregon on July 2, 2011, when she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Stephenie Steers. McGowan's platform is "Eating Disorder Awareness: Empowerment Through Attitude" and she said she hoped to raise awareness of eating disorders during her year as Miss Oregon. Her competition talent was a vocal rendition of "Chanson Boheme" from Carmen. McGowan was originally born in Waukee, Iowa, and is now a student at Oregon State University in Corvallis.
