  NBC has announced that it has tweaked its previously announced summer programming lineup, changing the premiere schedule for six of its upcoming reality series, including David E. Kelley's The Law Firm reality series.

  NBC has announced plans to air six reality series as part of its Summer 2005 programming schedule. Staggering their debuts throughout the summer, the network will launch the shows in three waves, starting with I Want To Be A Hilton and Average Joe 4: The Joes Strike Back in late June, followed by The Law Firm and Meet Mister Mom in late July/early August, and concluding with the mid-August premieres of Tommy Lee Goes To College and the second season of The Biggest Loser, its Fall 2005 surprise hit.

  FOX has announced that Tamyra Gray, who was a finalist in the first season of American Idol, will guest-star in the "Death Becomes Her" episode of the network's Tru Calling series on Thursday, April 15 at 8-9PM ET/PT.

  It appears that just as with Temptation Island 2, a second trip back to the Joe Millionaire well might have been one trip too many for both FOX and the Rocket Science production company that produced both series. According to the initial overnight ratings, the premiere of the network's much-hyped The Next Joe Millionaire series struggled mightily, drawing only a 5.2/ 7 rating/share and fewer than seven million viewers.

  Last week we reported on how, despite FOX's announcement of an October 20 premiere date, FOX has been taking a "mysterious" approach to the remainder of the promotion of the next edition of its Joe Millionaire series. First, over the summer, the network refused to reveal any additional details beyond the fact that butler Paul Hogan would be returning. Then, the network refused to comment when reports emerged that the new edition of the program would feature women from overseas. And most recently, FOX geared a significant promotion around this past Friday's unveiling of the program's next stars via a "sneak peak" trailer that aired during the network's Boston Public season premiere.
