Back in the Game is a upcoming American situation comedy that is expected to air during in 2013"14 American television season on ABC as a Wednesday night entry in the Fall of 2013. The series was co-created and executive produced by brothers Mark and Robb Cullen for 20th Century Fox Television. The series was greenlighted by ABC for a series order pick up on May 10, 2013.It will premiere on September 25, 2013.

Synopsis

The series follows a former All-Star softball player whose promising career came crashing down after she had a son, lost her college scholarship, and dumped her loser husband; and her estranged father, a once-promising athlete whose glory days were not as glorious because his career was cut short and has become a beer-guzzling, self opinionated couch potato. When her son decides to play Little League baseball (despite having no knowledge of the sport whatsoever) and gets rejected along with other misfit hopefuls, she, with the help of a wealthy friend, is thrust back into the sporting world by coaching a new team consisting of the rejects.
