American Idol determined its third group of three eighth-season finalists last night, with Wednesday night's live results show revealing that Lil Rounds, Scott MacIntyre, and Jorge Nunez had advanced to the Top 12 finals after receiving the most home viewer votes for their performances during Tuesday night's broadcast of the season's third and final semifinals group.

The third and final group of 12 semifinalists from American Idol's Top 36 took to the stage and performed during last night's live broadcast of the Fox reality competition's eighth season.
Once again singing hits from the Billboard Hot 100 chart, the final group consisted of Von Smith, Taylor Vaifanua, Alexander Wagner-Trugman, Arianna Afsar, Ju'Not Joyner, Kristen McNamara, Nathaniel Marshall, Felicia Barton, Scott MacIntyre, Kendall Beard, Jorge Nunez and Lil Rounds.
