First Supermodel Claim
Dickinson is the self-proclaimed first supermodel. Her claim is disputed by expert authors. Dorian Leigh is widely recognised as being a supermodel, and her career began and ended before Dickinson was born. However, Dickinson is credited for coming up with the term, "supermodel."
