Jamie Marie Kern (born July 16, 1977) is best known as a contestant on the first season of Big Brother. She has also competed in the Miss USA pageant.

Kern was born and grew up in San Rafael, California but later moved to Des Moines, Washington. Kern graduated from Washington State University as a member of that University's Honor College and was awarded the President's Award. She maintained a GPA of 4.0 and completed her degree in three years. In 1999 she was the Phi Kappa Phi Senior Scholar of the Year.

After winning the title Miss Washington USA in late 1999, Kern went on to compete in the Miss USA 2000 pageant held in Branson, Missouri. She failed to place at the pageant, which was won by Lynnette Cole of Tennessee.

Also in 2000 she appeared on the Reality TV show Big Brother. She was the last female houseguest left on that show (three men remained after she left). She has also appeared in Baywatch and on Transit Angel.

Kern graduated with an MBA from Columbia Business School in 2004 before working as an anchor for KNDU until 2006 when she then moved Portland, Oregon where she now works for KPTV. She remains in contact with the Washington pageant system, and hosted the Miss Washington USA 2006 pageant won by Tiffany Doorn of Woodinville.

Kern has also visited several countries including Japan and Cambodia. She also did live reports from the Vatican City for KNDU in Kennewick on Pope John Paul II's death.

Currently, she works for KPTV, a Fox affiliate in Portland, Oregon.
