Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge is a six-episode American celebrity reality television show on CMT in which nine celebrities from across the board spend 10 days learning how to ride bulls with retired rodeo star Ty Murray for the PBR Jack Daniels Invitational in Nashville. Cody Lambert, also well known in the rodeo world, aids Murray in the training of the stars and handles the bulls. Ty's girlfriend Jewel, who lives at his ranch, also makes frequent appearances and encourages the potential riders. The premiere and final episodes are 1 hour long, with the remaining four episodes spanning 30 minutes. The show will also be aired on VH1.

Unlike most reality shows, Ty Murray's Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge is not a competition where the celebrities compete against one another. Instead, they are working as a team to encourage one another and to get as many to the final event as possible.

The stars are training at Ty's ranch and 4 C's Bucking Bulls & Training Facility, both in Stephenville, Texas, while staying at the Quail Ridge Ranch. Each celebrity was allowed to choose the bulls for their final ride from nine level seven PBR bulls. For ten days Ty, Cody, and various other bull riders will teach the stars how proper chute procedure, how to mount the bulls, how to fall and get out of the bull's path, and how to ride and hopefully hang on for eight full seconds. In the final episode, celebrities who still want to and that Ty gives the okay to will attempt an eight second ride on their chosen bull in Nashville.
