  • TBS's 'House Rules' new competitive home improvement series premiering Friday, October 10

    Starting Friday, October 10 at 8PM ET, home improvement gets competitive when TBS Superstation pits three teams of amateur home remodelers against each other in the new reality series House Rules, presented by Lowe's. The series, which will result in one team winning the deed to the home they've renovated, is hosted by Mark L. Walberg (Temptation Island.)

    Following a national search, TBS Superstation has announced that it has selected three teams to go head-to-head on the network's upcoming unscripted competition series House Rules, presented by Lowe's. The teams will each remodel a home in Houston, Texas, with one couple being chosen by viewers to win the home they've remodeled. In addition, TBS Superstation has announced Mark L. Walberg (Temptation Island) as host for the series, set to premiere in October 2003.

    FOX has announced that in a classic cross-promotion move, "chart-topping recording artist and four-time Teen Choice Awards nominee" (oh, and "American Idol" winner too) Kelly Clarkson is set to perform at the "2003 Teen Choice Awards" on Wednesday, Aug. 6 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles will play host to the special, celebrating the hottest teen icons in film, television, music and sports.
  • 'Real World: Seattle' houseguest Rebecca Lord joins band with Keanu Reeves

    Who says that reality TV stars are allotted only 15 minutes of fame? Kimberly Potts of E! Online reports that MTV's Real World: Seattle houseguest Rebecca Lord, a Virginia native who was an aspiring 19-year-old singer during that show, is now fronting a group named "becky." The bass player in becky is none other than Hollywood matinee idol (and star of The Matrix trilogy) Keanu Reeves.
  • 'All My Children' to feature reality show storyline within the fictional series

    Reuters reports that in a novel blend of TV formats that could hardly be further apart, ABC plans to inject a bit of "reality" -- in this case a search for five of America's sexist men -- into the fantasy world of its popular soap opera "All My Children."
