Jorge Nava was a 27-year-old from Riverside, CA and Anfisa Arkhipchenko was a 20-year-old from Moscow, Russia when Anfisa arrived in America on a K-1 visa.

After originally appearing on Season 4 of 90 Day Fiance, Jorge and Anfisa were also part of the cast of Seasons 2 and 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?.

Jorge met Anfisa on Facebook after seeing her photos online. Anfisa initially ignored the messages, but she eventually agreed to meet with him.

After a lavish vacation around Europe and a blowout fight over an expensive handbag that nearly ended it all, the pair reconciled. Anfisa then agreed to travel to the United States.

Jorge's family was concerned about Anfisa's motives, and so he chose not to buy her an engagement ring or wedding dress.

Anfisa didn't exactly deny she was in the relationship for Jorge's money, but she believed he, in turn, was dating her primarily for her looks.

Regardless, the pair got married in a simple courthouse ceremony.

Jorge and Anfisa appeared to remain happily together in the months following their wedding.

However, in February 2018, Jorge was arrested in Arizona with nearly 300 pounds of marijuana in the trunk of his car.

In September 2018, Jorge began serving a 22-month prison sentence after pleading guilty to a felony charge of marijuana transportation.

Jorge said he probably didn't get off easier due to his criminal record, which includes two previous convictions for cultivation of marijuana.

"With the charges against me, I was looking at around 24 years or something like that -- some ridiculous number," he told TMZ.

"But luckily, my lawyer was able to work out a plea agreement and I got the charges dropped and I ended up pleading to a class 4 felony in Arizona."

Meanwhile, Anfisa kept herself busy by going to the gym and taking classes at a local community college.

In July 2019, Anfisa celebrated her wins in a female bodybuilding competition she had entered in Las Vegas.

"Stage photos are coming in! To be honest I still can't believe I won every class I competed in last weekend  Only when I look at the photos and my trophies I realize that it actually happened!" she gushed.

In March 2020, Anfisa went Instagram official with a new man as Jorge remained imprisoned.

Shortly afterward, Jorge -- who has lost 128 pounds while he has been incarcerated -- announced he planned to divorce Anfisa after he was released from prison.

According to Jorge, his weight loss contributed to the end of his marriage.

"I think she was just jealous of the attention that I was getting," Jorge told In Touch Weekly. "The news about my weight loss didn't sit with her very well."

"I believe [that led to our breakup] because at that very moment in time, that's when she blocked my phone calls and I kind of was starting to lose contact with her," Jorge said.

"She did tell me like right off the bat, like the day after, that she didn't want anything to do with me and that it was over."

In May 2020, Jorge was released from prison.

Shortly afterwards, Jorge enjoyed a big steak dinner at a restaurant in Scottsdale, AZ.

In June 2020, Jorge debuted his new girlfriend on Instagram.

Five months later, he announced he and his new girlfriend Rhoda Blua were expecting their first child together.

"Thankful for all of my blessings," Jorge captioned a sonogram photo he posted on Instagram celebrating Thanksgiving 2020.

Jorge and Rhoda's daughter Zara was born in April 2021.

In October 2021, Jorge announced he and Rhoda were expecting a second child.

Jorge and Rhoda welcomed their second child, a baby boy, in March 2022.
