Holly Michelle King (born 1982, in Hollywood, California) is an American film actress, TV personality, and reality show contestant. She was a contestant on Big Brother 5, a hit reality TV show broadcast by CBS in 2004. At the time of the show, CBS described her as just a model from Los Angeles, California, without mentioning her prior TV and film work.

TV and film

Prior to her appearance on Big Brother, King appeared in various low budget films, such as Survivor: Los Angeles the Ultimate Parody (2001), Vampire Survivor (2002), I Love Your Work (2003), and Beat Boys Beat Girls (2003).

King also appeared on another reality based television show entitled MTV's Fear. Accompanied by 4 other contestants (including future America's Next Top Model runner up Mercedes Scelba-Shorte), King was brought to Hopkins Military Academy which has been reported to be haunted. Over the course of the program King and the other contestants were directed to do a series of dares. Holly took part in the very first dare in the show which included her having to lie on a platform in the Academy's pool and having to watch as spikes come falling down over her. During this stunt King proclaimed how much she valued her life shortly followed by hoping her waterproof mascara wasn't running. She successfully completed the spike drop dare. On the 2nd night of the stay King took part in the 4th dare bringing her to the Cabinet Room in the basement of the Barracks. In the Cabinet Room Holly was made to send an electric current through her body for 5 consecutive seconds. While the dare was being performed a disclaimer appeared on the screen urging viewers to not try the stunt at home. Holly successfully completed the electricity dare. After the stunt and after she had returned to the safe house she angrily asked the other contestants "Why are they making me do all the torture stuff?" For the 6th dare Holly and the other remaining contestants had to go to the Captains headquarters to investigate a table which ended up containing the prize money. Holly and the 2 other remaining contestants (Angela and Mercedes) won $5000 for lasting the whole 2 nights and completing all 6 dares.

King is also known for being "Gear Girl" on the National Lampoon Networks TV series Gamers. The weekly show discusses various aspects of video gaming. She's also done guest appearances on TV shows, such as Nip/Tuck on FX, NBC's Las Vegas, CBS's Two And A Half Men.

Big Brother 5

On day 28 of being in the house, King became the third person voted out of the house. She returned to the house the following season, to host a Big Brother 6 veto competition.
