With Martha Stewart's The Apprentice spinoff proving to be a ratings dud and his own Apprentice series continuing to experience an ongoing ratings slump of its own, it's now apparently time for Donald Trump to pay attention to one of his favorite business lessons -- "Always look out for yourself... and feel free to throw your business partners under the bus."

NBC unveiled its 2005-2006 Fall primetime schedule yesterday, announcing that it will broadcast not one but two The Apprentice editions this fall, with its previously announced The Apprentice: Martha Stewart series joining the fourth edition of the Donald Trump-led original Apprentice series as part of the network's Fall 2005 primetime lineup.

Bravo has announced plans to air its most aggressive slate of original summer programming ever, with new reality series such as Sports Kids Moms & Dads, Hidden Howie: The Private Life of a Public Nuisance, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, Situation: Comedy, Being Bobby Brown and Battle of the Network Reality Stars all scheduled to join new seasons of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy and Blow Out as part of its summer programming lineup.

So much for the widely accepted idea that a "maturing" television show's ratings can't go anywhere but down as it hits double-digit seasons... as well as any lingering thoughts that NBC's Joey will ever prove itself a worthy inheritor of Friends' Thursday night time period.
