Tami Roman Biography

Tami Roman (born Tamisha Akbar; April 17, 1970) is an American Television personality, model, businesswoman and actress. She is one of the five main cast members in the VH1 reality series Basketball Wives since its premiere in 2010. Roman also was a cast member on The Real World: Los Angeles that aired in 1993. She is currently working on her self-in titled cosmetic line.

Roman was born in Mount Vernon, New York, and raised in White Plains, New York.

She is the former wife of former NBA basketball player Kenny Anderson, which she has two daughters with named; Lyric and Jazz.
