Marci Alboher (born in Brooklyn, New York) is an American author, journalist, speaker, and writing instructor with a background in law. She is author of One Person/Multiple Careers: A New Model for Work/Life Success (Warner Books, 2007), which popularized to the term "slash" to refer to a person with concurrent multiple careers. Alboher is a frequent contributor to The New York Times, where she originated the Shifting Careers column and blog. She lives in New York City.
