It had to face off against the Fox's final American Idol 5 semifinals performance show in its first hour, however last week's special two-hour premiere of America's Next Top Model's sixth edition still did extremely well, delivering the UPN reality show's best ever premiere ratings.

CBS' The Amazing Race 9 got off to a bit of a slow ratings start last Tuesday, with viewers' still-lingering distaste of last season's horrific The Amazing Race: Family Edition teaming together with the final half-hour of Fox's special 90-minute American Idol performance show to result in the show's lowest premiere ratings since The Amazing Race 4 debuted in May 2003.
NBC's 'The Apprentice 5' premieres to rocky Monday night ratings

The latest season of Donald Trump's The Apprentice got off to a somewhat rocky ratings start on Monday night, with the NBC's premiere of The Apprentice 5 failing to break the 10 million viewer mark and finishing in fourth place in the reality show's first broadcast in its new Mondays at 9PM ET/PT time period.
