Andre Soriano (born September 17, 1970) is an American fashion designer.

Early life

Soriano was born and raised to a Filipino family in Manila, Philippines residing in the San Diego,California. He is the son of Josephine, an very caring mother. His interest in fashion design started early, and as a child when his mother used to design draperies for the family members and thats how Andre learnt his art.

Career

He attended FIDM, a fashion school in San Francisco and In 204, Andre Opened a store is San francisco which sells Active wear and Ready-to-wear clothing. his true passion is to make couture gowns. He moved to San diego in 2008 and Estalblished an Atelier from home with help of his Significant other Thomas Brown. He was on First season of Styled to Rock where he created a dress for Carly Rae Jepsen and other celebrity. He has been featured at New york Fashion Times presenting Pre Fall 2014 Collection at Style Fashion Week L.A. a regular article at Fine Magazine. His runway includes few celebrities like Jessica Sanchez, Joy Villa, Mara Conchita Alonso and others. Apparel News has recongized Andre for his Hiress collection. He is been great speaker for LGBT and interviewed various radio station and TV. His latest swim line has been worn by Maitland Ward. His first runway show was in San Diego Fashion Week. He is well known for his Bridal and Larger than life couture design recently. His grammy dress he desinged for Joy Villa was a talk of the town during Grammys. He was also featured in Vanity Fair for a gown he made for CHRISTIANNE CHRISTENSEN.

Personal life

Soriano lives in the San Diego, with his Partner, Thomas Brown and their three dogs. Soriano is of Filipino descent, with immigrant ancestors from Manila. He Believes in Charity and giving back to the community
