Biography During his college years at the University of Nevada, Joey joined the school’s boxing team at 19. After graduating from college Joey joined the Air Force and put his plans to go to law school on hold. When Joey returned he immediately began boxing and entered the “Golden Gloves” in Nevada, and made his professional debut only two months before starting law school. He then became an owner of a small independent consulting firm and put his professional boxing career on hold. After the death of a close friend Joey, 28, put his firm on hold and officially began to fully pursue his boxing career. He holds an undefeated record of 8-0.
