It aired on the National Geographic Channel on Sunday, November 4, 2012. The facts in the film were not "confirmed or denied" by White House officials. Hollywood actors like Cam Gigandet, Kenneth Miller, Kathleen Robertson are among the other actors in the film. The part of the film showcasing the Pakistan locales were shot at Khopoli near Mumbai as the filmmakers were unable to procure permission to shoot in Pakistan. Rajesh Shringarpure plays a CIA agent named Waseem who heads the team.

The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters in the film were not modified for stealth.
The courier was killed inside the guest house when the Navy SEALs returned fire, not by a Navy SEAL in the courtyard.
None of the compound's children wandered outside as the Black Hawks arrived at the scene.
Osama bin Laden did not even touch his AK-47 or prepare to use it in defense. When the Navy SEALs checked it, they found an empty magazine.
