Ryan McCartan Biography

Ryan McCartan (born June 14, 1993), is an American television actor and singer. He was a 2011 Jimmy Award winner, the top honor given only to two students at the National High School Musical Theater Awards. McCartan plays "Diggie" on the Disney Channel sitcom Liv and Maddie.

Personal life

McCartan has been dating actress and singer Dove Cameron since 2013. He officially announced that Dove was his fiance on April 14, 2016. The two of them started the pop duet group, The Girl and the Dreamcatcher. His father, Conn McCartan, is the principal at Eden Prairie High School in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
