Jamie Murray (born October 27, 1977) was a cast member on MTV's The Real World television series, New Orleans during the Spring of 2000. He subsequently reappeared on several of MTV's Real World/Road Rules Challenge seasons: Extreme Challenge (2001), Battle of the Sexes (2003), and The Gauntlet II (2005). Following his brief tenure as reality television star on The Real World, Murray was arrested on May 5, 2001 for illegally bungee jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Unfortunately for Murray, his bungee ropes had become entangled and he needed to be rescued by emergency personnel. Murray said he jumped off the bridge to "spread love". In a statement he released, Murray said, "This jump is my way of drawing attention to the need for a positive movement of personal growth and social healing." Murray, along with his friends, created Soul Gear, an extreme sports and clothing Web site. Murray travels around the United States as a motivational speaker and participated in the recent AIDS Ride, a bicycle ride from San Francisco to L.A., to raise money for AIDS. In 2005, Murray appeared again on MTV in the The Gauntlet 2. In the season premier, Murray stated that prior to his departure to film the reality show, he was living in a Buddhist Temple.He posed nude for a deck of Nude Playing cards.

Murray is a brother in the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, having joined the Cornell University chapter.
