Shawniece Jackson and Jephte Pierre appeared on Season 6 of Married at First Sight.

Although the couple's romance was a very slow burn, as Jephte refused to even sleep in the same bed as his wife for weeks, Shawniece's patience paid off and the pair grew to respect and care for each other.

On Decision Day, Shawniece and Jephte admitted they weren't in love, but they still chose to stay together and try to make their marriage work long-term.

Shawniece revealed in late April 2018 she and Jephte were expecting their first child together and the pregnancy news was a total shock, though extremely exciting.

The couple welcomed their baby girl, Laura Denise Pierre, in August 2018.

In April 2019, Shawniece and Jephte bought their first home together.
