Mekalya Silvera is a 32-year-old hairstylist from Miami, FL

Mekalya knew she was ready to find the one and applied for Season 4 of Married At First Sight. Having tried on wedding dresses, Mekalya was all set to marry a stranger until she found out her match fell through.

Saddened by the thought that the opportunity to marry her soulmate had passed her by, Mekalya is ready for love once again.

She thinks this time, she'll find the man she's meant to spend the rest of her life with.

Mekalya believes the real reason her groom left her at the altar in the MAFS experiment was because the real love of her life is someone she is destined to meet on Honeymoon Island! Everything happens for a reason.
