Then, during Wednesday's live results show, it was announced that Jasmine Trias was eliminated from the American Idol competition.

American Idol got into the swing of things Tuesday night, as the remaining five finalists performed songs from the Big Band Era. During last night's live results show, it was announced that George Huff was eliminated from the American Idol competition after receiving the fewest votes. On Tuesday night, Huff sang "What A Wonderful World" and "Cheek To Cheek." The eighth finalist to be eliminated from the competition, Huff will return to his hometown of New Orleans, LA. Only four finalists remain, one of whom will be the next American Idol!

Estefan joined the judges Tuesday in critiquing the performances. Then, during last night's live results show, it was announced that John Stevens, who sang "Music of My Heart" on Tuesday, was eliminated from the American Idol competition.
