Iris was raised in Raleigh, NC, as an only child.

Her parents divorced when she was three years old, but she has maintained a close relationship with each of her parents throughout her life.

Iris is ready for the Married at First Sight experiment because she always gives so much of herself to others, and wants to give that same attention and dedication
