Final Decision: Split

Current Status: Divorced

Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid's relationship seemed destined for happiness and longevity in the first week of their arranged marriage on Married at First Sight's tenth season, which aired in early 2020.

However, Brandon lashed out at production and Taylor at the end of their honeymoon in Panama, and the couple could seemingly never recover.

Taylor said she felt disrespected on a daily basis by Brandon's lack of effort and desire to spend time with her, but Brandon believed Taylor wasn't really ready or willing to be a wife.

He thought she cared more about using her phone and hanging out with her friends.

As the process continued, Brandon became increasingly more paranoid and frustrated in regards to the documentation part of the process, which bled into his relationship with Taylor when he started to believe Taylor had only signed up to marry at first sight to gain social-media followers and become a reality TV star.

Brandon and Taylor started fighting frequently, and Brandon was furious when he discovered Taylor has posted an Instagram Stories video claiming she was single and looking for a tall, sexy man who could actually meet her qualifications.

Tension came to a head during the couples' retreat, when Brandon had a meltdown over Taylor spending the night in a hotel with her friends.

Brandon removed his microphone when asked by a producer named Leif not to touch the crew's equipment, and then Brandon taunted and berated Leif before yelling and swearing at Taylor for trying to calm him down.

Much to viewers' surprise, Taylor later informed viewers she and her husband had reconciled and were trying to get their relationship back on track once they returned home to the Washington, D.C. area.

However, Brandon refused to be filmed from that point on.

Taylor wasn't sure Brandon would show up to "Decision Day" as a result, but when he did make an appearance, Taylor announced she wanted a divorce because she didn't feel protected, uplifted or supported by Brandon.

Brandon filed for an annulment to his marriage to Taylor on January 2, which was only one day after Married at First Sight's tenth season premiered on Lifetime.

According to Brandon's court complaint obtained exclusively by Reality TV World -- which asks for "annulment or, in the alternative, absolute divorce" -- once he and Taylor wed, "it became clear" that Taylor's intent had not been to establish a committed and lasting marriage but to "gain notoriety and attention."

In addition, Brandon's filing claims he also discovered Taylor committed adultery during their marriage.

According to Brandon, Taylor also continued to participate in online dating services throughout their marriage.

During the reunion special, Taylor revealed she and Brandon both got arrested at a bar one night and subsequently both filed for protective orders against each other.

Brandon did not show up to the reunion, but he claimed in a court filing Taylor had brought her new boyfriend to a bar he used to work at in order to provoke him.

Taylor, on the other hand, said Brandon taunted her at the bar and took photos of her when she was just trying to leave.

Taylor insisted at the reunion she and Brandon didn't like each other and so she was happy they were both legally forced to keep their distance from one another going forward.
