Allison Holker and Stephen 'tWitch' Boss

Allison Holker and Stephen "tWitch" Boss met on So You Think You Can Dance.

Allison was a Top 8 finalist on the second season of So You Think You Can Dance, and tWitch finished as the runner-up during the show's fourth edition.

A romance sparked in 2010 when they both starred on the seventh season of So You Think You Can Dance as all-star partners for the contestants.

They got married in December 2013 at So You Think You Can Dance creator and former judge Nigel Lythgoe's vineyard and winery in Paso Robles, CA.

Allison and tWitch then had two children together -- Maddox, a son they welcomed in March 2016, and Zaia, a girl who was born in November 2019.

In December 2022, tWitch tragically committed suicide. He was 40 years old.

"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us," Allison said in a media statement.

"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans."

She continued, "To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt."

"I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory," the dancer and choreographer concluded.

"We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children. Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you."
