Bobby Trendy is a Vietnamese-American interior decorator, designer and television personality. According to his publicist, his birth name is Ray Muro. A certificate of incorporation for a company known as Bobby Trendy, Inc, indicates his real name may be Robert Trinh. He was born c. 1979 in Valencia, California and graduated in 1999 from Saugus High School.

A 2002 article mentioned that Bobby's designs were "cool enough to meet the standards of" Janet Jackson, Catherine Zeta Jones, Tara Reid, Carmen Electra and Dennis Rodman. According to Trendy, everything he designs is "over the top", designed to show off one's "optimal wealth" with "no expense spared".. His flamboyant sense of personal style has resulted in his personal appearance wardrobe being compared to that of the late Liberace. Trendy's work as a designer has been featured on the Lifetime Network's home improvement show Merge and ABC's Bachelor Pad. Trendy made many appearances on The Anna Nicole Show (2002-2004) as the interior decorator to Anna Nicole Smith, who was perpetually dissatisfied with the quality of his work. Their ongoing feud served as a plotline during the show's first season, with Trendy serving an antagonist. Seen by many as a flamboyant individual, he frequently used the memorable descriptor "luxurious" in reference to furniture, himself or activities in which he participated. Trendy's apparent inability to meet deadlines and honor commitments was a running theme, resulting in a soured relationship, that culminated in an episode during which Smith destroyed the bed frame and pillows Trendy had fashioned for her. During his final appearance on the show, he was refused access to the residence and threatened to sue both Smith and her attorney, Howard K. Stern.

Following the death of Anna Nicole Smith, Bobby Trendy gave numerous press interviews, including appearances on CNN, Fox News and The Howard Stern Show. In an interview with Michael Musto of the Village Voice, Trendy said: "Anna Nicole Smith made me famous. I'm the most famous designer in the world and I'm forever grateful to her. I just made the call to ask about buying her a star on the Walk of Fame! Even though she spread her legs and bared her genitals, she was not a whore. She was the breadwinner of the family. Howard K. Stern led her in the wrong direction by isolating her from other people." In an interview on Howard Stern's radio show, Trendy insisted that he and Anna Nicole were really good friends and blamed the discord between them, as seen on the Anna Nicole Show, squarely on her attorney Howard K. Stern. The shock jock played a clip from the series in which Anna Nicole stated that she'd "completely had it" with Trendy and wanted him "gone".

In 2006, Trendy made a non-sexual cameo appearance in a gay pornographic movie by Falcon Studios titled, The Velvet Mafia, Part 2.
