Bridget Everett (born 21 April 1972) is an American comedian, actress, singer, writer, and cabaret performer. Originally from Manhattan, Kansas, she has been performing in New York City for over a decade. She has performed stand-up on Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central. Everett has described herself as an "alt-cabaret provocateur."?

Career

Everett often performs with her band, The Tender Moments, which includes Adam "Ad-Rock"? Horovitz from the Beastie Boys and Carmine Covelli from The Julie Ruin. In October 2013, Everett and Horovitz performed in a show called Rock Bottom that the two co-wrote with Hairspray songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman. Bridget has also performed with Brad Williams in a show called Down n Dirty (hosted by Broad Citys Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer) at the 2014 Bonnaroo Music Festival.

Bridget performed a duet of "Me and Bobby McGee"? with Patti LuPone at Carnegie Hall.

In 2014, Bridget Everett and the Tender Moments released an album with twelve tracks entitled Pound It!

Everett's first one-hour TV special, Bridget Everett: Gynecological Wonder, premiered on Comedy Central in 2015. In it, she performs her usual brand of comedy cabaret.

On August 1, 2017 Everett got a standing ovation for her "Piece of My Heart" karaoke performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

On August 4, 2017 a comedy titled Fun Mom Dinner was released in theaters and on-demand in which Everett co-stars with Toni Collette, Molly Shannon, Katie Aselton, Paul Rudd and Adam Levine. Revolving around four moms whose only common ground is their kids' preschool class, who decide to get together for a harmless "fun mom dinner." The night begins as a disaster, but the combination of alcohol, karaoke and a cute bartender, leads to an unforgettable night where these seemingly different women realize they have more in common than motherhood and men.

On August 18, 2017 a drama comedy titled Patti Cake$ was released in theaters after a successful run at Sundance. Everett plays Barb, mother to aspiring rapper Patricia Dombrowski, aka Patti Cake$, fighting an unlikely quest for glory in her downtrodden hometown where her life is falling apart. Patti tries to reach the big time in the hip-hop scene with original and affecting music. Cheered on by her grandmother and only friends, Jheri and Basterd, Patti also shoulders her mother's heartaches and misfortunes.
