Aurora Alluria Beauvais (born December 3, 1986), is an American singer-songwriter, businesswoman, and actress.

Career

1999-2004: early years and debut album

Born in New Orleans to the influential creole business family of the Beauvais, Alluria began actively pursuing a recording contract in early 2000, Alluria eventually gained the attention from Island Record executives, whom proceeded to sign Alluria to the label in 2001. Her self-titled debut album was released on January 17, 2003 and became a moderate success. The musically R&B album produced two singles, "Don't Go" and the Frankie J duet "Once Again". Work on Alluria sophomore album was initially planned for late 2003, but Alluria decided to postpone the project indefinitely, in favor of returning home to aid in running her family's business ventures. Alluria shortly reemerged in early 2004, with the release of the single "Sexy Boy".

2005-present: Hiatus, business leadership, and return

Following the postponement of her second album, Alluria enrolled as a student at Syracuse University, from where she earned a bachelors degree in Business. Alluria then went on to function at various levels within Beauvais Enterprises, eventually becoming the company's COO.

In 2017, Allria announced her return to the entertainment industry and revealed that she will be co-starring in the Friday the 13th reboot, scheduled for release in October of 2017. Additionally, Alluria will executive produce and star in a reality show detailing her return for the WEtv network.
