Jonathan Reid

Coming from Nashville, Jonathan hopes to improve his record of 31-1 and show the younger contenders the power of wisdom and experience.

From the wrong side of the tracks, Jonathan spent three years in prison for armed robbery. He has what at first appears to be an ornery or contrary demeanor, until you see that he is putting you on. He actually has a great sense of humor and that humor is his most lovable trait. But the other side of the Reid Dawg is a serious, experienced, tough-as-nails fighter. He's a veteran in and out of the ring and has had a rough life.

Although Jonathan has been boxing for only 10 years, he also has experience in the martial arts as well. At the age of 9, Jonathan’s father taught him the sport of fighting (from his own experience in the army). After graduating from high school Jonathan opted to be a professional boxer. Jonathan, who is currently 31, relies on the love of his five children and wife for his inspiration to fight. He's very grounded and religious but not over the top.  He says a million dollars won't change their lives because they already have the things that count.
