Zap2It.com reports that ABC has announced that their "tables are turned" edition of "The Bachelorette," starring runner-up single Trista Rehn from the original edition of "The Bachelor," will premiere Wednesday, January 8th, 2003.
The WB has announced that "The Bachelor" creator Mike Fleiss' newest reality TV series, "High School Reunion," will premiere on Sunday, January 5 at 9 p.m. and air again on Thursday, January 9 at 8 p.m. The show will remain in that viewer-friendly twice-a-week pattern throughout its six-episode run.
Call it "Big Brother" meets "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." Reuters reports that HBO will air a documentary next month in which patrons of a Nevada brothel happily appear on camera negotiating and consorting with prostitutes. "Cathouse," a one-hour special that HBO will telecast after the season finale of its mob drama "The Sopranos" on December 8th, takes viewers behind closed doors at the Moonlite Bunny Ranch in Carson City, Nevada, where prostitution is legal. The film is part of HBO's "America Undercover" documentary series.
TVGuide reports that newly engaged Bachelor banker Aaron Buerge will make his acting debut on the Tuesday, November 26th episode of ABC's "Less Than Perfect." He'll play one of two men fighting over series star Sara Rue.
Just a scheduling reminder for viewers of CBS' "The Amazing Race 3" that due to tonight's airing of the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" on CBS at 9PM ET, this evening's episode of "The Amazing Race 3" will air one hour earlier at 8PM EST.
ABC Television and Mike Fleiss, the creator of "The Bachelor," have announced their newest reality TV show creation -- "Are You Hot?," a reality series that will scour the country in search of America's sexiest people. The six-episode series is set to air on the ABC Television Network in 2003 and will give everyday Americans the opportunity to tune in, log on and ultimately choose who will be the hottest man and woman in the nation.
Variety reports that The WB has ordered six episodes of the tentatively titled "North Shore," an hour-long reality show that will revolve around seven pro surfers living in an Oahu beach house. Cameras will follow the surf dudes and dudettes as they prepare to square off in the Vans Triple Crown of surfing, which consists of three surf championships held in November and December.
Variety reports that CBS is getting ready to run another leg of "The Amazing Race." According to the trade, the CBS network has committed to a fourth installment of the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced reality series, which has proven to be a solid performer on Wednesdays.
Backing off their earlier plans to air their "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" Wednesday, November 20th at 8PM ET, CBS executives have now decided to air the program in the 9PM ET timeslot and swap the normally scheduled 9PM program, "The Amazing Race 3," into the 8PM ET timeslot.
ABC has announced that the one-hour special, "Extreme Makeover," has moved to WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 11 at 9:00-10:00 p.m., ET/PT. The special was originally set to air on Thursday, November 21.
