Rachel Lindsay selected Bryan Abasolo after a mutual breakup with Peter Kraus on The Bachelorette's thirteenth season, which aired in 2017.

Rachel and Bryan got engaged during the show's finale in 2017.

After the attorney-turned-ESPN personality and Bryan got engaged, they lived in Rachel's hometown of Dallas, TX, for a while before moving to Miami, FL, in 2019 where Bryan works as a chiropractor.

In August 2019, Rachel and Bryan tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at the Royalton Suites Cancun in Mexico.

The pair reportedly said "I do" in front of The Bachelor alums including Kristina Schulman, Bibiana Julian and Astrid Loch, however the event was not filmed for broadcast on ABC.

"I wanted a TV wedding. I 100 percent did," Rachel admitted to People.

"Then, as we got to know each other in the real world and things became normalized, and then I started hearing horror stories about these TV weddings, I am very thankful that we don't have one and that we're doing it on our own. I also think that it shows to the world or Bachelor Nation that what we have is more real."

Rachel added, "We don't need TV. We don't need to get paid. We're doing this because this is what we want to do. And I think it has more meaning."

However after four years of marriage, Bryan filed for divorce from Rachel on January 2, 2024.

Bryan reportedly listed December 31 -- New Year's Eve -- as the pair's date of separation, and he requested spousal support from the Season 13 The Bachelorette star.

Prior to starring as the Bachelorette, Rachel competed for Nick Viall's heart on The Bachelor's 21st edition.
