The Bachelor may have one or more spinoffs rolling out soon on Disney's Hulu streaming service.

Robert Mills -- who was previously in charge of all of ABC's unscripted programming and is now also responsible for overseeing unscripted series at Hulu, which is one of ABC's sister companies within The Walt Disney Company -- has revealed Disney is now considering launching addition Bachelor spinoffs on Hulu, Deadline reported.

Robert, recently promoted to EVP of Unscripted and Alternative Entertainment for Walt Disney Television, shared that "Hulu is an exciting possibility."
"You can certainly experiment with all sorts of different long form Bachelor programming," Robert told Deadline.

"You're not hamstrung by running time or even standards. It's definitely exciting. I think it's early, but it's certainly not something that we're not thinking of."
The Bachelor has aired numerous spinoffs on ABC over the years including The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad, Bachelor in Paradise, and The Bachelor Winter Games.
Last year, the franchise aired a new musical spinoff, The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart, which Robert said he was really pleased with overall.
"Creatively, it stands alongside the best of what The Bachelor franchise can do," Robert said, noting that ABC has also been working on a senior citizens version of The Bachelor for over a year.
"I think it probably was a little convoluted trying to mix the performance element with the love element and I think that something like the senior version is very clean. I think that probably we'll look for that going forward."

ABC first announced casting call for possible contestants over the age of 65 back in January 2020, and their targets reportedly included the "Grumpiest Old Men" and "Goldenest Girls."

Robert told Deadline that producers found bachelors and bachelorettes with memorable stories, such as a woman who claimed to have slept with a former U.S. President.
"These people have great stories to tell," Robert teased. "That feels that's a home run idea if we get it right."
Robert went on to compare The Bachelor franchise to an NFL football franchise in that production is always advised to talk offseason and plan ahead.

"It is 100 percent a franchise. To me, I would put this at least on the television side as important a franchise to the Disney company as any of the other ones that we have that are full-time jobs, whether it's Marvel or Lucasfilm," Robert said, referencing two of The Walt Disney Company's other subsidiaries.
"In the same way that Lucasfilm is not just Star Wars anymore, it's The Mandalorian... it's the same thing with The Bachelor. You have to take care of this and there's quality control. That's really important."
In the meantime, The Bachelorette's seventeenth season starring Katie Thurston is currently in production and scheduled to premiere this spring.
The Bachelorette is taping at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya in Santa Ana Pueblo, New Mexico, according to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone.
Former The Bachelorette stars Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams will be serving as co-hosts of Season 27 as Chris Harrison continues to educate himself during his leave of absence about racism in society.

According to several sources, producers are looking to film a seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise this year but "many" potential cast members are "declining" their invitations, E! News reported.
An insider told E! News that past contestants of the franchise are hesitant to join the upcoming Paradise spinoff due to Rachael Kirkconnell's social-media controversy and Chris' offensive reaction to it in which he had defended the racially-ignorant and racially-insensitive actions in Rachael's past -- which include posing for photos at an antebellum-plantation themed "Old South" party at Georgia College & State University in 2018.
Even though many familiar faces from the franchise may opt out of looking for love on Bachelor in Paradise during these challenging times, another source told E! News, "This could be the best cast ever."
"There is talk of having two years' worth of cast due to no Bachelor in Paradise last year," the source explained, referencing how ABC skipped the 2020 edition of Paradise due to coronavirus and filming obstacles.
"They are in talks with multiple former leads. For the first time in franchise history, there will very likely be former Bachelors and Bachelorettes hitting the beach in Mexico."
ABC will also film an eighteenth season of The Bachelorette starring Michelle Young for broadcast in Fall 2021. It's unclear whether Chris will return as host later this year.
