David Palmer, a 24-year-old DJ/astrologer from Huntington Beach, CA, became the fourth contestant eliminated from True Beauty's second season during Monday night's broadcast of the ABC reality series.

"If I would have known that helping the people was basically the way of winning this competition, I would have won this better than anybody," said David after his ouster.

"But this was a great lesson for me to learn."

True Beauty's fourth second-season episode began following the previous disqualification of Regina Villano, who was ousted after violating the competition's rules that stay no cell phone use is allowed.

The contestants were surprised because Liz Parada, a 31-year-old model from Hollywood, FL, and Taylor Bills, a 24-year-old former professional athlete from Irvine, CA, met in the Face Off.

"Nobody wants Liz in this house," explained Amy Schmoldt, a 22-year-old bartender from New Brunswick, NJ.

In addition, nobody understood why Regina wasn't there. Liz was excited to partake in the celebratory shots that had been meant for Taylor, however the other contestants were leery since she had previously gotten drunk on more than one occasion.

The next morning, David said the next to days were "intense astrologically."

"I'm really starting to feel it right now," he added.

He then discussed astrology with the other contestants, who were bored by the conversation.

True Beauty judges Carson Kressley, Beth Ostrosky Stern and Vanessa Minnillo met in the control room, and Vanessa revealed that this week the contestants would be participating in a sexy photo shoot for an advertisement for Planet Hollywood's buffet in which they'd be wearing nothing but food. Carson and Beth would be judging the final advertisements.

In addition, the hidden beauty challenge would check to see if the contestants had "compassion."

Carson then met the seven contestants and revealed the challenge to them before having each select a tray of food to determine what they'd be wearing.

Liz went first and chose muffins, followed by Craig Francyzk, a 29-year-old retail manager from Winnipeg, Canada, who picked crabs. Taylor chose next and got sushi, while Michelle Mozek, a 21-year-old dancer from Dallas, TX, received vegetables. David picked fruit.

Erika Othen, a 25-year-old singer/cocktail waitress from Long Island, NY, was next and received ice cream, and Amy went last and received pasta.

"I think Amy's going to have the hardest time with this challenge because she's very self-conscious of the way she looks. Pasta isn't the sexiest thing in the world," commented David after previously claiming that Erika's boobs would help her sell ice cream.

The advertisements would be judged on three criteria -- appearance, slogan creativity, and the overall look of the photo. The contestant with the best ad campaign would win the challenge, while the bottom two would go to the Face Off.

"If I don't win this competition that means I'm going home," said Liz. "But I don't think Liz is going anywhere. Losing is not an option."

The contestants then arrived at the photo shoot and began working with a stylist to create their ad campaign. The hidden beauty challenge would see if the contestants would dig through the room's trash to help an assistant find her engagement ring.

Amy, Erika, Taylor, Michelle all passed, while Liz, Craig and David failed. Not only did David fail the challenge, he also talked to the other contestants about it and said he didn't help because he was too busy waiting.

"I just don't even deal with people like that," he added. "I didn't fly all the way out here to help a girl find her ring and then lose the show."

Craig reiterated David's belief and said helping the assistant could cost them a shot at winning. Liz defended those who helped, stating an engagement ring has a lot of importance.

Vanessa thought David's remarks showed that he was "one dimensional."

"Craig and David both better have the best slogan..." said Beth.

"... And the best photograph," added Carson.

The photo shoot then commenced and David went first. He said he wanted a banana to shield his "junk" because it went along with his "appealing" slogan. The rest of the contestants also participated in their photo shoots.

Amy was upset with how her photo turned out because she didn't think it was flattering. She subsequently expressed her concerns to the other contestants, who were slightly annoyed by her attitude. Liz also didn't think she was creative enough with her pose, while David was unsure what the judges would think.

"I feel like this competition should really go to me," he boasted in a confessional. "I just showed I'm willing to do whatever."

The contestants then met with Carson and Beth, who commented on each of the advertisements. Before revealing the results, Beth and Carson told Amy to be confident about her body. Erika was then revealed as the winner, while David, Craig and Liz were told they had the worst campaigns. However Liz was safe, meaning David and Craig would go to the Face Off.

David told the other contestants he wasn't nervous about going to Face Off and was upset that his banana ad campaign wasn't well-received by the judges. Amy said she wanted Dave to come back because he has "good energy" and also saw Craig as bigger competition.

"Craig doesn't even know what he's going to get. He's not that pumped like me. He doesn't want it that much," commented David in a confessional. "I want to win way more than he does. Way more!"

"David is no competition for me," said Craig in his own confessional. "I've risen above on every challenge and he hasn't."

In the control room, the judges discussed whether to eliminate David and Craig -- commenting that both of their ads were in "poor taste," as David's photo and Craig's slogan were in "pretty bad taste."

"Neither have been angels," said Beth about the boys. "The thing that sticks out with me with Craig from the beginning is that he stole his outfit."

Carson agreed, but added Craig has gotten better in recent challenges. Vanessa pointed out Craig failed the Penn & Teller challenge and didn't help the woman with the dog -- but neither did David. In addition, neither David nor Craig helped the assistant find her ring.

"But it comes down to attitude, and for me I think Craig's attitude is so much better," said Carson.

"Craig definitely seems like an easier going guy and he really hasn't joined the pack in ganging up on Liz," added Vanessa. "David's been mouthy."

"I think David has the attitude that, 'I'm going to win this no matter what it takes,' and that's the attitude we don't want," said Carson.

There would be one more hidden beauty challenge to help determine who would be booted, as both David and Craig would have an opportunity to help husband and wife tourists take a photo.

"If Craig passes this, it's pretty much a home run," said Vanessa.

"Craig's going to help," said Beth, and Carson agreed.

However Craig declined to help the couple.

"I am absolutely shocked," said Beth.

Even more surprising, David helped the couple and snapped their photo.

"He did take the picture, now we just have to think if it's enough to outweigh all the bad that he's done," said Vanessa. "I think the defining fact right now is going to be the pleas."

Carson and Beth then met with Craig and David to hear their final pleas.

"I felt like I wasn't going to far off with the ad," said David. "I felt like my slogan was perfect... My ad portrayed my personality great. I go to the extremes, and Las Vegas reaches extremes. In the City of Sin, you can sin. That's why I'm the personality and the 'Face of Vegas.'"

Craig said he took every challenge thrown at him and gave "110%."

"I chose the wrong slogan," he also admitted. "I would love to be able to stay here in this competition and prove to you in other challenges that I'm the 'Face of Vegas.'"

Carson, Beth and Vanessa then deliberated their final decision.

"I felt like Craig's was a little more heart felt," said Carson. "David, I felt his point was well-made... But ultimately he wants to win and it doesn't matter who he steps on to get there."

The judges decided to take everything into consideration since the competition commenced, and Carson revealed that David would be getting the boot.

Craig then left the Face Off and Carson and Beth revealed to David that he was actually competing on True Beauty by showing him footage of him refusing to help the woman with the dog, not looking for the lost engagement ring and then verbally bashing the task, and bad-mouthing Liz.

"This is a competition. I'm actually a spiritual teacher for a living, I actually help people everyday of my life -- that's really what I do," said David, defending himself.

"This is a competition, and I thought it was going to be the opposite, like, 'Hey, the Face of Vegas is going to be somebody that can compete and stay on top of their game at all times.' That's how I felt throughout this whole competition."
