Bachelor in Paradise star Bailey Taylor Brown has shared what she thinks Brian Autz's real motivation was for telling her about Jeremy Simon's desire to pursue a relationship with Susie Evans.

"Here's the thing: I do think that Brian was coming from a genuine place," Bailey revealed during a recent episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast co-hosted by Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.
"I think that getting into this competition aspect, I still think, you know, even if it is coming from a genuine place, there is still a way it can be beneficial to you."

Brian informed Bailey about how Jeremy had been missing -- and essentially pining for -- Susie right before a Rose Ceremony in which the cast could vote out one man, ultimately eliminating one couple from Bachelor in Paradise's tenth season.

Even though $500,000 was on the line and Brian had an opportunity to potentially knock Jeremy out of the running, Bailey clarified, "I still felt like Brian was coming from a genuine place, and he really expressed that in our conversation."
Bailey insisted she is "still super grateful" that Brian had told her about Jeremy's secrets because no one else was stepping up to the plate.
And the situation almost backfired on Brian because a handful of guys -- who accused Brian of having suspicious timing and breaking "bro code" -- voted for him to be sent home in support of Jeremy. (In the end, however, Golden couple Faith Martin and Kim Buike were eliminated).
"It was such a sh-tty feeling to know I was the last person to find out about this and every other person knew about it," Bailey admitted.
"In the grand scheme of things, I just wish that Jeremy would've told me. I don't know where his mind was at the time as to why he didn't tell me. Maybe things were going so good, he didn't want to dampen the mood. And I will say, I was very emotionally upset."

Bailey recalled how her emotions were "out of whack" at this stage in the game and so Brian's news really set her off.
"I just shut down. It felt like everything had just been building up. We were in Week [5 or 6] and I was just like, 'I'm done! I'm out. This is too much for me. I don't even care about the $500,000 at this point because emotionally, I am drained. I am on [empty] and I can't take it anymore,'" Bailey recalled.
"I just wish some of my friends had told me. In my head, yes, Jeremy should've been the person who told me, and secondly, my friends should've told me."

Bailey acknowledged that it was "really hard" learning those hard truths from Brian and it "totally threw" her off.

While Bailey appreciated Brian's honestly, she said she didn't like how he went about it.
Bailey apparently thought it was strange that Brian had asked her to talk by having a "secret rendezvous" in the middle of the night.
"Because that caught me really off-guard and I think anyone that knows me, I am a Taurus -- I am a super loyal person," Bailey explained.
"So I was just like, 'Whoa! No! Absolutely not.' I didn't know that was the point of the conversation. I was like, 'I'm not allowed to have a secret rendezvous with you because that's insane. I'm not going to step out of my character just because maybe you have something to tell me. Tell it to me at breakfast! What is this going to change?'" Bailey vented.
"I'm like, 'You can't have this conversation with me in front of anyone?!' At that moment... I had no idea why he wanted to have a secret rendezvous, and the whole point of the secret rendezvous is to maybe see who else you're compatible with and all these things."

Bailey explained how she wasn't interested in that because she had already chosen Jeremy and Jeremy had chosen her.
"So that's where my head was. [Jeremy and I] also just had an insanely fun one-on-one date last week, so why would anybody think that I would do a secret rendezvous?" Bailey noted.

On Bachelor in Paradise's latest Season 10 episode, Brian let Bailey know that Jeremy had said he regretted not giving Susie his rose.
Not only did Brian tell Bailey that Jeremy had called Susie on the phone and begged for her to return to Paradise, but he also dropped the bombshell that Jeremy had said he'd propose to Susie on the spot if she ever came back.
When Bailey confronted Jeremy about Brian's claims on the show, Jeremy promised Bailey that he really cared for her and only had eyes for her. Jeremy also denied ever saying that he'd propose marriage to Susie if she came back to Paradise.
Bailey ended up forgiving Jeremy and the pair decided to move forward in Paradise together.
