90 Day Fiance star Jenny Slatten has clapped back at people criticizing her amid her battle with ALS.

Jenny recently posted a slideshow of photos of her beach vacation with her husband Sumit Singh, who was rocking a bright floral shirt with yellow sunglasses in one of the pictures.

In response to backlash over the couple's choice to travel when Jenny's health is worsening and they've been receiving donations for her treatment via GoFundMe, Jenny wrote in the comments of her Facebook post, "If you don't know what ALS does to a person please research it, we came to the beach for part of my treatment."
Jenny, 68, went on to explain on Wednesday, October 21, "The ocean has negative ions and that's good for an ALS PATIENT so that's why we're here."

Jenny then begged haters to leave her alone as she's trying to feel better and live her life to the fullest.
"Please keep your negative hateful comments to yourself," she added. "My life is going to end and yours will keep going on so if you don't agree with our sea vacation keep it to yourself. Thank you."
Sumit had revealed in late August that Jenny's ALS was rapidly progressing and she was "losing strength in her backbone and neck." Jenny's speech had also dramatically slowed.
"Jenny is getting weaker by the day," read a September 23 update on her GoFundMe account, which had been created to raise funds for her ongoing medical expenses.
Jenny's medications were apparently making her feel "very tired" and she planned to start acupuncture soon. The GoFundMe page revealed that Sumit has been Jenny's main caregiver and is doing a great job.

On 90 Day: The Last Resort's Season 3 Tell All, which aired in September on TLC, Jenny noticeably struggled to express herself to host Ross Mathews.
Jenny and Sumit participated in the Tell All from India via Zoom, and she shared of her health crisis, "I don't like to talk, so he can," pointing to Sumit.
"I am okay," she clarified. "I am still independent and walking and doing everything, but I can't talk."

Sumit admitted Jenny's worsening symptoms were "disheartening" but his wife was "showing a lot of courage."

"Every day she wakes up with a smile on her face," Sumit concluded.
Sumit and Jenny -- who began starring on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way in 2019 and have appeared on multiple spinoffs of the TLC reality show since -- told People in May that Jenny was diagnosed with ALS in December 2025, one year after she started experiencing symptoms.
Jenny's daughter Christina revealed in late July on Instagram that Sumit had started the process to obtain an "emergency tourist spousal visa" so that they can both come to the United States and Jenny can receive more treatment "using her insurance."
Sumit claimed the level of treatment a person can receive for ALS in India does not compare with what the United States has to offer.
Sumit explained how Jenny didn't want to move to America without him because they'd "be apart forever."

Sumit previously said his goal is to make sure Jenny -- who has three daughters with ex-husband Ralph Edwards -- is financially stable, and he noted that it's not practical for Jenny to stay with her daughters in America.
"If she needs me, I try to be available, and if we go to America, she has her daughters, but they have their own family and their own life," Sumit said.
"And I don't want to be a burden," Jenny interjected.

In the comments section, Jenny's daughters wrote at the time, "Mom, please know you are never a burden. I would love to have you here and that's what us children are for but I know you won't be happy and you want to be with your husband, I get it 100% but I just wanted you to know don't ever think you would be a burden in my life."
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. The disease can cause muscle weakness, loss of mobility and difficulty speaking.
