The Bachelor star Peter Weber insists he was "just as frustrated" as his bachelorettes -- "if not more" so -- when Hannah Brown showed up on a group date and stole the show.

"I mean I totally understood their frustration. I was just as frustrated, if not more," Peter told Us Weekly on Thursday.

"And the entire time I was talking with Hannah, in the back of my mind, I was thinking about [the girls] and what that was going to do to them. And, you know, I knew they had sacrificed their time to be there, and give it a shot with me."

Peter therefore admitted his Season 24 bachelorettes' frustrations were "totally justified."

Natasha Parker, for example, wasn't okay with the fact Peter was so focused on Hannah B. and probably wasn't over her, and she voiced those concerns to the other women and to Peter's face.

Peter, however, ironically told the women competing for his heart at the beginning of the date that inviting Hannah B. was his idea.

"I am so excited for today... I actually asked a very good friend of mine that knows me very well if they could put this date on," Peter told the group of women in The Bachelor's premiere episode.

"And I'm a little bit nervous because I have no idea what we're doing."

Hannah also told the group of nine ladies, "Peter put me in charge today. That was a terrible idea."

But Peter probably didn't anticipate Hannah B. would have an emotional breakdown backstage while the pilot's bachelorettes were rehearsing personal sex stories to share with a live audience.

Hannah ended up monopolizing Peter's time because he felt the need to comfort his ex as she expressed regrets over her final The Bachelorette decisions, such as getting engaged to Jed Wyatt and then asking her runner-up Tyler Cameron out on a date on After the Final Rose instead of Peter, her third-place finisher.

Peter asked Hannah to join his lineup of Season 24 bachelorettes, but Hannah seemed to suggest he just leave the show with her instead.

The conversation ultimately led to Peter rejecting Hannah B. and deciding to move forward in his journey to find love on The Bachelor. Peter didn't want to feel like a woman's third option or even just a backup option.

"I tried to do my best from that moment on to really show [my bachelorettes] that I was ready to leave that in the past and just focus on them," Peter explained to Us.

"And, you know, I feel like I did my best job and that's all I could have done."

Peter canceled the day portion of that group date in the January 13 episode because he confessed he wasn't in the right headspace to date multiple women after his reunion with Hannah B.

But Peter met with the nine ladies later that evening and resumed building connections with them.

"It's such a crazy, unique experience doing this. And you go into it thinking that you know how it's going to go. Yeah, it's going to be hard, but I'll be able to handle it," Peter told the magazine on Thursday.

"And it's really hard. And I made a lot of mistakes. I was not perfect, whatsoever. But, I just give myself that... grace, and I know I'm not perfect and I'm human."

Peter added, "It's really tough and confusing dating so many people at once... So I was going to mess up. And I told them that first thing, all the ladies. I told them to expect that."

Peter, however, said he doesn't regret anything because he learned from the mistakes he did make.
