Jennifer Hudson's return to the stage may reportedly came at President-elect Barack Obama's Presidential inauguration.

After two months of grieving over the murders of her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, Hudson is reportedly in talks to perform 'The Star Spangled Banner" at the January 20 inauguration of Obama, the New York Post reported Wednesday.
"Organizers want Jennifer to sing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the Inauguration on Jan. 20," a source told the Post. "They are talking to Jennifer about it. It would be the first time she performed since the murders. She is from Chicago and a huge Obama supporter."
The third-season American Idol finalist has been tapped as a singer for an event featuring Obama before. Back in August, she sang the national anthem on the final day of the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO prior to Obama's acceptance of the party's presidential nomination.
Hudson is already scheduled to perform at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala in Los Angeles on February 6.

Darnell Donerson, Hudson's 57-year-old mother, and Jason Hudson, her 29-year-old brother, were found shot to death in Donerson's house in the South Side of Chicago, IL. Three days later the body of Julian King -- Hudson's nephew who was reported as missing following the murders -- was found in the back of an SUV.
One month after the murders, 27-year-old William Balfour -- Hudson's estranged brother-in-law -- was arrested and charged for the murders.
