If The Bachelor 7 bachelorette finalist Krisily Kennedy appeared to remain a little too composed in the minutes following her rejection by Charlie O'Connell on Monday's live The Final Rose finale, there's a good reason -- she had suspected the move was coming.

In an interview published in Thursday's edition of her local Providence Journal newspaper, the 25-year-old Warwick, RI salon coordinator and former Miss Rhode Island USA admitted that Charlie's decision didn't really surprise her.

"I kind of expected it a little bit," she told the paper. "The conversations between us had changed. He used to call all the time and tell me how much he missed me. Then he just wasn't calling as much anymore."

Krisily acknowledged that she had a pretty good idea of what was about to happen when Charlie entered her backstage waiting room, but tried to hold back her emotions (and tears) until they had finished their conversation. "I wanted to be strong for Charlie, because I know how difficult it was for him," she explained.

As she did during her live post-breakup interview, Krisily admitted that it hurt when Charlie rejected her in favor of Sarah Brice, but that she still had no regrets about appearing the ABC reality dating show. "It was a great opportunity for me," she told the paper. "The best thing about it was that I did learn to open myself up and express my feelings. I do think there is that guy out there who will make me a better person."

Krisily also addressed the topic of whether she'd be interested in starring in a future edition of The Bachelorette. "I'd need some time to think about that," she said. "It would take a lot of coaxing for that. I don't know if I would want to put myself through all that again."

Then again, given that like many former reality stars, Krisily admits to have been bitten by the showbiz bug, it would be hard imagine her turning such an opportunity down. Speaking with the paper via telephone from Los Angeles on Wednesday, Krisily admitted that she was thinking about moving to California and "getting an agent" after first returning home to save some money. However, her current plan was to be at back at work at her cousin's hair salon by the end of the month -- "unless I get an offer out here first."
