Married at First Sight star Ryan has revealed how he knew Jose and Rachel's explosive fight simply stemmed from the fact Rachel had accidentally called her husband "Johnny."

Jose lost his temper and cussed out his wife Rachel after she unintentionally called him the wrong name on Married at First Sight's thirteenth season.

When Rachel -- who had apologized -- told her husband that he's not allowed to speak to her in such a disrespectful manner, Jose essentially kicked her out of their apartment and subsequently locked the door's deadbolt so she couldn't return later that evening.

Jose's actions resulted in Rachel threatening divorce and falling out of love with Jose, and it turned out all of this transpired simply because Rachel had called him "Johnny," who is a friend of the couple and is married to Bao on the current Married at First Sight season.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Jose, Ryan and Zack watched back a Season 13 clip of Jose discussing the fight he had with Rachel while out golfing with the other MAFS grooms, including Johnny Lam and Gil Cuero.

Jose says in the clip he wouldn't be able to trust Rachel again, prompting Ryan to blurt out, "I gotta say -- it's going to come out. She called you 'Johnny.'"

Ryan's announcement to the group made everyone laugh at the driving range.

"I don't know how you take that to such [an extent] like, 'Maybe she's sleeping around.' She called you 'Johnny,' man!" Ryan points out.

"And we're always talking about each other and are always with each other," Zack adds, referencing how the cast frequently gets together to receive advice and talk about their similar experiences.

Unfiltered host Jamie Otis -- who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight and is still married to her match, Doug Hehner -- also laughed about Ryan's surprising revelation.

"If you would've saw me, I was over there just like, 'Somebody say something!'" Ryan recalled on a lighthearted note.

"I appreciate Ryan doing that," Jose declared. "So yes, that was it."

Jamie therefore asked Jose, "Does that help you put things into perspective?"

"I mean, of course. I overreacted, right? I overreacted," Jose confessed.

Jamie then asked Ryan how he knew about the fact Rachel had accidentally called Jose by Johnny's name.

"There was a group [of us]. It was Brett, [Myrla Feria], myself and Rachel, and we had a conversation," Ryan revealed.

Zack chimed in, "Yeah, and I was there for it. Yeah, I remember that."

Ryan continued, "Rachel had told us that."

Jose also insisted on Unfiltered he's not usually "a hot-headed individual" and is "super remorseful and very apologetic" about his behavior on the show and how he had treated Rachel.

Jose claimed locking Rachel out of their apartment was an accident, as he always secures the apartment before going to sleep, but Zack called him out on lying about that.

While Jose opened up to the guys about the issue, Rachel also confided in the Married at First Sight ladies -- Myrla, Brett and Bao. (Michaela missed the gathering because she said she wasn't feeling well).

Rachel expressed to the other women how it seemed like Jose didn't care about her at all.

Rachel said she and Jose were "technically but not emotionally" married anymore, and she accused Jose of being "vindictive" and "unresponsive," adding that he had allegedly deflected blame onto her and exhibited passive aggressive body language.

After Ryan and Zack mentioned how Rachel saying "Johnny" was probably an honest mistake, Jose said he still loved Rachel and missed her a lot.

However, Rachel was on a totally different page by that point.

"I do not love him anymore... Now I'm in totally unmarked territory," Rachel confessed. "Could I regain trust? Can I love again, the same person? I have no idea."

Married at First Sight's thirteenth season currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
