The four new Married at First Sight couples are Luke Cuccurullo, 30, and Kate Sisk, 27; Keith Dewar, 29, and Kristine Killingsworth, 28; AJ Vollmoeller, 37, and Stephanie Sersen, 35; and Will Guess, 37, and Jasmine McGriff, 29.

The couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Jessica Griffin, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Pastor Calvin Roberson based on compatibility, goals, hobbies, religion, views of marriage and gender roles, and much more.

After getting married and saying, "I do," each pair enjoyed a wedding reception followed by the wedding night.

Later this season, each couple will embark on a honeymoon, move in together, and then navigate the joys and struggles of daily life together for the duration of the seven-week experiment.

Luke and Kate get married

The second broadcast of Season 8 kicked off with Kate and Luke's wedding, and Kate gushed about how she was "very attracted" to her new husband. She said they locked eyes immediately and she felt very lucky to have been matched with him.

Luke thought Kate looked beautiful, but he immediately recognized his wife as she walked down the aisle because they had actually met three weeks prior to their wedding at a speed-dating event.

Luke was "surprised" Kate didn't recognize him in return, but he decided to wait to bring up the topic until after the ceremony as to not spoil their big day.

When Kate and Luke each enjoyed a glass of champagne after the ceremony, Kate admitted Luke was quiet and their conversation didn't exactly flow.

She felt Luke was acting a bit "awkward and uncomfortable," but Luke was just waiting to break the ice and remind her they had met already.

Kate finally realizes she's met Luke before

Luke then shared with Kate that he had met one of her friends at a speed-dating event, and that's when Kate remembered she had met Luke there.

"Oh my God! Oh my God! My roommate Megan was like, 'Can you please go to this speed dating event with me? And I was like, 'I literally don't want to. I may be getting married. I don't want to go; I'm tired of dating.' And he was running it, so I met him very briefly," Kate told the cameras.

Kate then revealed Luke had emailed her the night before the wedding, asking if she'd like to attend a future speed-dating event.

"I didn't answer you... because apparently I was getting married to you!" Kate said with a laugh.

"I'm glad you didn't [answer]," Luke noted with a big smile.

Kate was fine she had previously crossed paths with her husband, and Luke acknowledged they were just "kind of strangers" getting married.

Kristine and Keith get married

Kristine and Keith were then shown tying the knot.

Ten minutes before the wedding, Kristine was freaking out a little bit and shaking. She just hoped to be matched with someone compatible, explaining relationships didn't work out in her past because she tends to be picky and have very high expectations of her partners.

Kristine's mother was very impressed and relieved to meet the groom. She was full of emotions and very excited for her daughter.

Keith, a self-declared "homebody," was hoping his wife was going to be "nurturing" because he was raised by three women and admitted he was "spoiled" growing up by their love and support.

When Kristine walked down the aisle, Keith was very happy and said he got "butterflies" the second she smiled at him. Kristine was also glad to see that Keith was tall and handsome, checking off her boxes when it comes to his physical appearance.

The couple sealed the deal with a sweet kiss, and Keith gushed about how it was "the best day" of his life. Kristine also bragged to the cameras about how their first kiss was "amazing."

Kristine and Keith had "instant chemistry," according to Keith, and he couldn't believe how gorgeous she looked. However, Kristine was clearly physically fit, and Keith admitted he hates working out and participating in physical activities.

Keith also told his wife that he's terrible at cooking and so he hoped she wouldn't mind working her way around the kitchen. Kristine was perfectly fine with that -- as long as Keith did the dishes.

All four couples get to know each other

Meanwhile, Kate said she was "vibing pretty well" with her husband, especially because he seemed considerate and acted like a gentleman.

Both pairs took wedding photos, and given Kate and Luke were strangers, it was awkward for them, although they had chemistry.

Luke just didn't want to kiss his wife with people watching -- especially since the intimacy was forced -- and Kate even acknowledged the poses were "a little bit cheesy."

But Kristine and Keith felt very comfortable with each other during their photo shoot. They shared sweet kisses and flirted naturally for the cameras, and Kristine gushed about how her husband was so attractive and smelled fantastic.

Each couple then enjoyed their wedding reception, which included a first dance. Kristine felt "safe and secure" in her husband's arms, as well as wanted. She had hope she could grow to love Keith easily.

Viewers then caught up with the first two couples who got married: AJ and Stephanie as well as Will and Jasmine.

Both couples felt a connection. Stephanie thought AJ seemed sweet and caring, and she also appreciated how he was easy to talk to. And AJ was just so pleased to finally eat dinner with a woman rather than eating a meal alone.

While eating dinner, Luke and Kate's guests tapped on their glasses to make the couple kiss, but Luke didn't go for it. Kate would have been perfectly fine with kissing, so she said it felt awkward that Luke was so resistant and guarded.

Keith was then shown getting to know Kristine's brother and father, who felt the couple was "a very good fit" and Keith seemed like a nice and respectful guy. Kristine's loved ones maintained a positive attitude and just put the relationship into God's hands.

At Luke and Kate's reception, Kate learned Luke is not a great communicator from the groomsmen, but they helped her to understand him a little bit better by advising her to ask questions.

Meanwhile, Jasmine was humbled to meet Will's family, especially his sister, with whom she "instantly connected." Jasmine was just thrilled things seemed to be working out right off the bat.

Wedding night sex conversations happen

The conversation of having sex for the first time then naturally came up for each Married at First Sight participant and his or her friends heading into "the wedding night." The men expressed how the ladies needed to take the lead and they just wanted to play it by ear.

Marriage started to feel real for each couple, and everyone was very happy and pleased with how the weddings went.

"I'm excited! I can definitely see myself having a 'happily ever after,'" Kristine told the cameras.

"If this doesn't work out. I will feel devastated. I'm not in this to have a trial and error. The reason I'm doing this is to have a long-term commitment and a partner for the rest of my life. At this point, I feel really connected to AJ and we are off to a really good start," Stephanie said in a confessional.

And Jasmine said, "I am feeling so relieved. The connection was so real and I am excited about the future with Will and to start making a life together. I am very happy with him, and it seems like he is a great guy."

"Today went far beyond my expectations, and it's starting to feel really real," Kate explained.

"Nothing is perfect, but it's really close, and I can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together."

Luke thought his wife was extremely beautiful, but he wasn't in a rush to consummate their marriage given they still had so much to learn about each other in order for things to feel natural and comfortable.

AJ and Will could see themselves being with Stephanie for a very long time, and Keith admitted he'd love to have sex with his wife for the first time because their chemistry was heating up.
