JD Scott a 26-year-old real estate agent from Los Angeles, CA, became the first contestant eliminated from True Beauty's second season during last night's premiere broadcast of the ABC reality competition series.

"I'm just completely surprised by that," said JD after his ouster and the revelation that he was actually competing on True Beauty. "I feel more than anything that I should be the face of Vegas, so I just don't understand it."

True Beauty's second-season premiere began with former Queer Eye for the Straight Guy Fab 5 member Carson Kressley and Howard Stern's wife Beth Ostrosky Stern being welcomed as the show's new judges by returning host/judge Vanessa Minnillo.

In addition, Vanessa revealed that the 10 contestants think they're competing to become the "Face of Vegas" but will also be judged secretly on how beautiful they are on the inside.

The 10 contestants were then introduced by Carson and Beth to a live Vegas audience before the three judges sat down in the show's "Spy Room." Vanessa explained the contestants were traveling to their Planet Hollywood suite, where they'd be living for the eight-week competition while also unknowingly being filmed by 54 cameras.

As the contestants moved in Liz Parada, a 31-year-old model from Hollywood, FL, immediately clashed with  Taylor Bills, a 24-year-old former professional athlete from Irvine, CA, because she alleged he stole her bed.

"Liz got a little feisty over the bed, so after a logical argument, I gave it up," said Taylor.

"If I want something, I will get it," boasted Liz.

Regina Villano, a 22-year-old teen pageant queen from Tabernacle, NJ, and Amy Schmoldt, a 22-year-old bartender from New Brunswick, NJ, immediately bonded as the two Jersey girls -- and they quickly began to bash the other contestants.

The next morning, Carson met the contestants and revealed that their first challenge would have them going out to create their "perfect Las Vegas alter ego look." They'd have 20 minutes and $200 to pick out their look, as well as stylist Paige, who would work with them.

"I'm ready to go because I'm on my game, I do have a stylist," boasted JD. "He took me through a seven-month process of getting my style right. Take one look at me and it worked -- absolutely worked."

In addition, Carson said the "people of Vegas" would vote on their favorite look -- and the two with the least-popular look would head to the final face-off, where one would be eliminated.

What the contestants didn't know was that Paige was a hired actress working for the judges. Once the contestants purchased their items at the boutique, Paige would present them each with an opportunity to "steal" an item they couldn't afford, with hidden cameras capturing their every move.

Michelle Mozek, a 21-year-old dancer from Dallas, TX, was the first contestant to go and she decided against stealing an item. Amy went next and also declined to take the top she really wanted.

Craig Francyzk, a 29-year-old retail manager from Winnipeg, Canada, was the first male contestant to go and he had no problems stealing the vest he wanted.

"I'm disappointed," said Beth, and Carson also thought it was "terrible."

Taylor was the next to go and he declined to steal sunglasses he wanted. Regina went next and wanted a boa, but also declined to steal it. Erika Othen, a 25-year-old singer/cocktail waitress from Long Island, NY, went next and decided against stealing shoes.

Michael Allen, a 25-year-old actor/model from Miami, FL, went next and was offered a shirt to steal, which he quickly did.

"He's really good at being bad," commented Carson.

David Palmer, a 24-year-old DJ/astrologer from Huntington Beach, CA, went next and was pressured into taking a scarf, however he declined to do it. JD also had no problems taking something to extenuate his drag queen costume.

"That was a very guilty look," said Carson.

Liz was the final contestant and had a hard time even finding something to pay for. When Paige offered her the expensive top she wanted, Liz quickly took it.

"She couldn't get it fast enough," said Carson.

Since the contestants had all their supplies, they began to get ready for the next part of the challenge. JD's drag queen look was a big hit for the female contestants, however David thought he looked like a "cheap, dirty hooker."

Regina noticed that Liz' top was one she also looked at but couldn't afford, however Liz lied and said all of the tops were different prices.

"I don't believe that was the only one that was under $200," commented Michelle in a confessional. "There's something sneaky going on."

The contestants then met Carson and Beth on the strip, and he explained that each of them would get inside a glass case for one hour. People passing by on the street would receive a token, which they could put inside any of the contestants' cases for the person they think has the best look. The people with the lowest amount of token would face elimination.

The challenge commenced, and Erika and Taylor initially had some problems due to their poor alter ego choices. Meanwhile Liz was doing extremely well because of her glitzy go-go dancer outfit. While David liked his Elvis idea it tanked with the crowd, as did JD's drag queen costume -- which many of the other contestants felt wasn't sexy.

Time expired on the challenge and Carson revealed that Liz received the most votes. In addition, Carson said Michael, David and JD had the lowest number of votes before he revealed Michael's 26 votes beat out David and JD.

"It blows my mind," said David. "I never lose."

"I really think I should have been the winner," added JD. "I guess the general population just wants to see skin over creativity. Lesson learned."

That night the 10 contestants celebrated, and Liz rubbed in her victory during the toast.

"I don't think that everybody likes me," she said in a confessional. "I don't care. Whatever."

The next morning, JD said he was "not worried" about going to the face off against David because he was going to where his "money outfit."

Vanessa, Carson and Beth met in the Spy Room before the face off and discussed how Liz might have won the challenge, but did so with a stolen outfit.

"She had such an unfair advantage," said Beth.

"She did look amazing, but she's definitely someone that we need to keep our eye on," added Carson.

They then discussed JD and David, and Beth said she felt David lost energy as the challenge continued.

"He wasn't engaging with anyone," said Beth. "I was really surprised."

"I think he got the lowest vote, quite frankly, because it didn't look like he cared," added Carson.

Vanessa said JD "totally wants to be here" but also stole during the challenge. She then revealed that she set up a second test for the contestants while they were shopping in which they would have to help a dog owner blocking the boutique's door.

JD passed the test, as he quickly helped the dog owner. David did not help the dog owner, as he instead told her he had to do something.

"David really lacked compassion," said Beth. "She was asking for help. That really did not sit right with me."

The judges then had to decide whether stealing or not helping a stranger was the more terrible offense.

David and JD then met with Carson and Beth. JD received credit for his look but knocked for lacking execution, while David was praised for his initial high energy that he eventually lost. In addition, Carson thought David's look was easy.

"I think last night took a lot of risk and a lot of balls to go out there and be a drag queen in the middle of Las Vegas Boulevard," said JD. "It might not be reflected in the amount of chips left on the base of my box, but I think it showed my confidence and my ability to represent a city."

"Elvis was an original Vegas entertainer, and that's what I am," said David. "I have the looks, I have the confidence and I know how to connect with everybody on the strip. That's what the face of Vegas needs to be."

Carson then revealed JD was eliminated. David then left the face off and Carson and Beth revealed to JD that he was actually competing on True Beauty by showing him footage of him stealing.

True Beauty's next second-season episode will air on Monday, June 7 at 10PM ET/PT on ABC.
