Grant, who starred on The Bachelor: London Calling in 2008, has gotten engaged to Rebecca Moring, People reported.

"I'm so excited and happy to be marrying my best friend," Grant told People.

Grant popped the question to Moring late last year on Christmas Eve in Australia. The former reality TV star reportedly proposed with a classic European cut 1920s diamond with a platinum band.

The soon-to-be bride and groom celebrated their engagement on Christmas Day on the beach near Perth in Australia with Moring's family, who previously moved there from the United Kingdom.

Grant met Moring at a local pub in the former Bachelor's hometown of London. He called their introduction "a refreshing change from TV and Tinder," according to the magazine.

The pair intend to get married later this year at Brympton House in the English countryside.

Grant, who works in finance, was previously linked to former Bachelor Pad champion and The Bachelor bachelorette Natalie Getz in 2011.

Before that, Grant was engaged to Shayne Lamas, whom he gave his final rose to at the end of his The Bachelor journey. Grant proposed to the daughter of soap opera star Lorenzo Lamas on the season finale in May 2008, but they called it quits on their relationship in July of that year after several months together.

Following his split from Lamas, Grant got romantically involved with his British publicist Sarah Robarts.
