According to a source, DeMario is in talks to compete on Dancing with the Stars' upcoming 25th season this fall, Us Weekly reported.

"DeMario's team is in touch with production for DWTS," the source told Us. "They are still in negotiations. No official papers have been signed. DWTS has shown interest in having him on as a contestant."

ABC did not confirm or deny DeMario's potential participation on Dancing with the Stars, but the network rarely comments on casting rumors in general.

"We'll be announcing our Season 25 cast closer to our premiere date, September 18," a Dancing with the Stars representative told Us.

DeMario -- who will likely appear in several days worth of footage on Bachelor in Paradise this summer as well as its reunion special -- told TMZ that he would absolutely be open to joining the Dancing with the Stars cast.

"I would love it. If I got the opportunity to do Dancing with the Stars, that would be something that I would 100 percent welcome," DeMario said. "It would be amazing to go out there and showcase a little bit of my dancing skills, also my personality, and try to have some fun."

DeMario, a 30-year-old former executive recruiter from Century City, CA, first appeared on Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette but was kicked off the show when his alleged girlfriend from back home confronted him during a group date in Los Angeles, calling him a liar and a cheater.

DeMario then made headlines in June when Bachelor in Paradise temporarily shut down production due to a public sexual encounter between Corinne Olympios and himself. Consent was in question because the pair had been drinking heavily that day, and Corinne hired a lawyer and called herself "a victim" in the situation.

However, Warner Bros. conducted an investigation into allegations of misconduct and found no evidence of sexual assault. Filming of Season 4 then resumed filming, but DeMario chose not to return to Mexico in light of the scandal.

DeMario has been through a lot in recent months and even cried during an E! News interview about how accusations of sexual assault hurt his family, but he's apparently up for another round of reality TV.

When TMZ asked DeMario whether he has a favorite song in mind to perform to on Dancing with the Stars, he replied, "I would murder 'Despacito' on that show," referring to the Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber's hit single. "You people don't understand. I'm, like, a black, Latin, salsa dancer."

DeMario said his purpose on TV is to "make America smile again."

"Even if you smile 'cause you're laughing at me, you're still f-cking smiling," DeMario told the website.

Bachelor in Paradise is set to premieres Monday, August 14 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC, while Dancing with the Stars will return with its 25th season on Monday, September 18 at 8PM ET/PT.
