Apparently a hometown wedding won't be in the cards of The Bachelorette's Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter. According to The Denver Post, the Vail, Colorado-based couple have instead opted to let ABC throw them a lavish Hollywood-style wedding at the swanky "Lodge at Rancho Mirage" in Palm Springs, California on December 6.

The Post, which is apparently at least partially basing its report on an earlier National Enquirer story, also reports that according to friends of the couple in Vail, Ryan and Trista are upset that the location has already been leaked to the press -- which would be no surprise given their previously reported outrage over the initial leaking of their $1,000,000 wedding rights deal with ABC.

The choice of wedding location should also come as no surpise to close followers of the couple's wedding plans -- after all, after holding their bachelor and bachelorette parties in the Caribbean island of Saint Maarten and inviting numerous other Bachelor alums to attend, did any viewers out there really expect to see anything less than a lavish wedding ceremony? But those fans who are still hoping that the couple settles down and removes themselves from the Hollywood spotlight after the ceremony shouldn't yet lose hope -- according to the Post, once married, the couple still plan to settle in a Eagle County, Colorado home.

ABC's three-part The Bachelorette Wedding Special will premiere on November 26 and feature Ryan and Trista working with their wedding planner to coordinate the wedding. The special will conclude on December 10 with a two-hour broadcast of the December 6 wedding ceremony.
