The Family Chantel featured Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett flying back to the Dominican Republic and Pedro breaking the news to his mother and sister the rest of Chantel's family would also be coming along for the ride during Monday night's episode on TLC.

The Family Chantel broadcast began with Pedro calling his sister Nicole, who had been trying to reach him while he was at the dude ranch with Chantel's father Thomas and brother River.

Nicole scolded Pedro for being "disloyal" by camping with Chantel's relatives whom she claimed didn't approve of or respect him, but Pedro insisted he was just trying to make his situation in the United States better.

Nicole then revealed on FaceTime their grandmother wasn't doing well and seeing Pedro would lift her spirits. Pedro was very close to his grandmother because she helped to raise him when his mother Lidia had to work constantly because she was a single parent.

Pedro's grandmother was also the first person to meet Chantel when she initially visited the Dominican Republic.

Nicole told Pedro that his grandmother thought Pedro didn't want to see her and it was important for Pedro to tell his grandmother that he loved her.

Nicole pointed out Pedro wasn't able to see his grandmother during his last visit home in December 2018. Nicole made Pedro feel guilty about not wanting to spend time with his real family and going camping with Chantel's family instead.

Pedro was frustrated with Nicole's anger because Chantel was still his wife and he wanted the both of them to be at peace with each other.

"It's all Chantel's fault," Nicole told Pedro. "She took away time you could spend with your family. And now grandma feels really bad and she's sad. And that's why I blame Chantel for all these things."

Pedro said he was tired of people playing the blame game, because it obviously wasn't Chantel's fault his grandmother felt sick.

Pedro, however, still determined he needed to go back to the Dominican Republic -- but he wanted to go by himself so there would be no drama.

Nicole was then shown meeting with her friend Coraima, the woman who had given Pedro a lap dance the last time he was home and made Chantel jealous. Nicole vented about how Pedro was trying to bond with Chantel's relatives in America and she didn't like it. Nicole acted as if it was a betrayal.

Nicole then explained once she and her mother Lidia move to America, they'll have to live with Pedro and use his money for the first several months until they obtain work visas, which she believed would infuriate Chantel and drive her crazy.

"I assure you that's going to set her on fire. Literally, a dragon," Nicole told her pal.

Coraima said Pedro was a good man and Chantel needed to appreciate what she had. Coraima respected the fact Pedro's married "a little bit," but she still seemed interested in pursuing him.

After a funny conversation in which Chantel said she speaks better Spanish than Pedro speaks English, Pedro asked Chantel if she'd be willing to go with him to the Dominican Republic to visit his grandmother and spend some time there.

Chantel was glad Pedro included her in one of his decisions, but she said her sister Winter had a lot of problems and she had a test coming up.

Winter apparently had yet to talk to Jah and "face reality" after discovering he had a secret son, and Chantel said she needed to stick around to support and be there for her sister during this difficult time.

Chantel wondered why Pedro didn't visit his grandmother during his last trip home considering he had spent so much time with his rowdy friends instead, but Pedro just pointed out his grandmother was sick and he needed his wife.

"I really am not over the things that you did the last time you were there. I have to go with you because I don't trust you," Chantel said, adding that she needed to protect her marriage and put on "a united front."

Chantel didn't want Pedro around anyone who would be a bad influence on him. She wasn't quite ready to face Nicole again, however, after Pedro's sister made her watch a video of Coraima dancing all up on Pedro during a wild night out at a bar.

Later on, Chantel shared with her mother Karen how she'd be visiting the Dominican Republic, but Karen feared Nicole and Lidia would be there "waiting to attack" her.

Chantel felt the need to support her husband considering he had a sick relative, but Karen reminded Chantel she needed to be there for her sister Winter. Karen said Jah had yet to come up with a good excuse for why he did not inform Winter he had two children.

"Don't forget what he did last time. Things are not good between you and Pedro and obviously between you and your in-laws," Karen told Chantel.

But Chantel really wanted Pedro's family and friends to realize they are together, their relationship is strong, and she's "there to stay." Chantel also hoped Pedro would tell Coraima he was married to her and that's final.

Karen then suggested she should come along for the trip to make sure Pedro and his family wouldn't take further advantage of Chantel. Karen wanted to make sure Lidia and Nicole would respect Chantel and not "bully" her daughter.

Karen eventually sat down with Pedro one-on-one for a chat at a restaurant, which Pedro noted was extremely weird. Karen said while Pedro had fooled Thomas and River into trusting him, she wasn't "falling for it."

Karen told Pedro that she wanted Chantel to have a better experience in the Dominican Republic than last time. In fear Chantel would be taken advantage of or treated badly over there, Karen insisted she'd be coming along.

Pedro said the last thing he needed was a fight between Chantel's family and his own family again.

"If they fight again, it's gonna be no way to bring my family to the United States," Pedro reasoned.

Pedro asked if Karen wanted to kick his mother's ass, but Karen said she would handle the situation like a classy lady. Karen just intended to support Chantel and not "bring war" upon Pedro's family.

Pedro wanted peace between both families, but Karen said Pedro could not stop her from traveling to the Dominican Republic again. Karen didn't "give a dam" what Pedro thought about it.

Chantel was frustrated Pedro was upset about Karen going to the Dominican Republic when he was trying to bring both Lidia and Nicole over to the United States to live with them.

Pedro told Chantel he'd like to put the two families together, but Chantel noted Nicole wasn't trying to work things out and get along with her. Chantel feared Pedro would make more mistakes around his friends and family.

"I danced with one girl and that's it!" Pedro said. "I messed up and I [said] sorry for that. The truth is I still love you, and my sister and grandma are not going to make me change my mind because I still love you."

Chantel asked Pedro to put Coraima in her place, but Pedro said that situation was in the past. However, Pedro was going to follow through with Chantel's requests so they could just move on.

"You need to tell her that you love me and that you're never going to be with her and you don't want anything else to do with her," Chantel demanded.

"Okay," Pedro replied.

Pedro felt it was his turn to take care of his grandmother, and Chantel had hopes this trip would be different than before since her husband actually wanted her to come.

Chantel, however, told Pedro once they landed that she wasn't going to become friends with her mother and sister during the trip. Chantel said she came to the Dominican Republic just to support him and see his grandmother.

But Pedro was upset because he had been putting so much effort into getting along with her family. Not only did Pedro agree to go to family counseling, but he also spent a night at a dude ranch with Thomas and River.

Chantel refused to see Pedro's family during their first day in his native country, but Lidia and Nicole were also shown saying they hoped Chantel didn't come along for the ride because she tended to be "dramatic."

Pedro then visited with his mother and sister and said they needed to change their attitude about Chantel because if they had any intention of coming to the United States, Chantel could help them.

Pedro reiterated how he'd have to wait two years to become a U.S. citizen to get the ball rolling or they would need Chantel in order to speed up the process.

Pedro told his family that his attempt to fix things with Chantel's loved ones was all for them and Nicole needed to be kind and sweet to them. Nicole argued, however, she always acted decently in their presence.

When Nicole and Lidia found out Chantel's entire family would be traveling to the Dominican Republic, Nicole blurted out she'd call the police if they tried to enter her home.

"I won't spend time with them only to get a pass to go to the United States," Nicole said. "These people are psychopaths. These people are crazy. They are literally crazy! Crazies!"

Nicole said she couldn't get along with people who had mistreated her brother. Pedro asked his family to show they are human in order to improve relations in the future.
