According to the Hollywood Reporter, the recent ratings for FOX's Paradise Hotel are continuing to improve to the point that the Adults 18-49 ratings for Wednesday, August 13 episode came close to besting those of CBS' Big Brother 4 in their 9PM ET head-to-head showdown.

While the overall numbers race weren't very close with Big Brother 4 drawing 9.8 million viewers and a 6.6/12 rating/share to Paradise Hotel's 6.8 million viewers and a 4.3/8, the race was much closer in the Adults 18-49 race as Big Brother 4 scored a 3.9/12 to Paradise Hotel's 3.5/11.

In the evening's remaining reality television ratings news, the majority of the viewing public continued to ignore all things ABC, as the network's second episode of "The Real Roseanne Show" drew only 4.2 million viewers and a 1.8/5 while "The Family" did even worse at 10PM with 4 million viewers and a 1.8/6. Meanwhile NBC's 8PM airing of Race For The Altar didn't fair much better, drawing a 4.7 million, 1.8/7.
